Survey on the use of Cannabis as Medicine

July 9, 2020

Karen Oldfield is a Doctoral student in Clinical Research at Victoria University of Wellington and Medical Research Fellow at the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand. Her PhD is exploring the use of cannabis as a medicine in New Zealand. As part of this, Dr Oldfield is asking patients to undertake a questionnaire about their knowledge and experiences around the use of cannabis as a medicine.  The questionnaire takes about 5-10 minutes to complete and can be completed online via the survey link or you may contact her directly if you wish to make a time to undertake this in person.  You must be over 18 years of age to participate in this study.

If you choose to participate your answers will not be included in the analysis until you have pressed submit, and you are welcome to stop the survey at any time. However, once you have submitted a response Dr Oldfield will be unable to remove this from the data set as she will not be able to identify your specific answers.

For further information please read the Participant Information Sheet via the link below:

If you would like to participate via the online survey, please follow the link below, or feel free to contact her to arrange a time to conduct the survey in person:

As this is a public survey link, and not specific to you, Dr Oldfield asks that you do not share it with other individuals and that you only fill in the survey once.

If you have any questions about the survey please contact her and she will be happy to answer them.
