Help sought for UK study

A UK researcher is asking male family members husband/partner/son/father) and significant others of people with multiple sclerosis (MS) to complete a series of online questionnaires investigating levels of social support, carer burden, willingness to seek help and attributes related to gender role.

This research will help to highlight the needs of male family members and significant others of people with MS and some of the barriers they may face in accessing support. It is being conducted by Damien Appleton, a doctoral student at the University of Leicester and Clinical Neuropsychologist working in Guernsey. It has received ethical approval from the University of Leicester Research Ethics Committee. All responses will be anonymous.
